Lloyd Clive Memorial Student Case Competition

Here are a few important details about the 2017 Lloyd Clive Memorial Student Case Competition.


Date:  February 4 & 5, 2017
Location:  Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre, Cambridge ON

Cost: $400 CAD per team; teams are responsible for this cost

Number of Teams: A maximum of 12 teams can register for this event, first paid-first served.  Limit one team per educational institution.

Team Eligibility:  Students must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program and be  APICS student members. Each team will consist of a minimum of two to a maximum of five student members.

Competition Format: The competition will use The Fresh Connection, same as the APICS International Student Case Competition.

Competition Evaluation: 50% The Fresh Connection, 50% Presentation

General Agenda: Please note that a more detailed agenda will be forwarded to registered teams closer to the event

Sunday February 5

Registration for teams is a 3-step process. Both steps must be completed for a team to be considered registered.  The team must be registered and paid to secure a spot in the competition.

  1. Provide the competition team's information here.
  2. Register (and pay for) the team here.
  3. All individuals (competitors, faculty advisors) must register here. Your registration includes Saturday's competition, Saturday evening' dinner and Sunday's finals.

General Notes:

  • Each student is responsible for providing their own laptop
  • All team related expenses (travel, accommodation) are the responsibility of the teams
  • Hotel room rates are $104/night; use group code "APICS" when reserving  by telephone, code "APICSC" when reserving online. Reservation deadline is January 13,2017.
  • It is recommended that you request sponsorship from your local chapter/other to cover some of the costs
  • The winning team will have the opportunity to compete in the 2017 APICS International Student Case Competition held in conjunction with APICS 2017 Conference in San Antonio TX next fall.
